The DubForge project screen: the first segments in Portuguese and English on the left; the lesson’s video with its player, the voice lane over five minutes and the downloads on the right
The cookie lesson in the DubForge editor: 99 segments, and the video stays in view while you work through them.
  • One lane per voice

Each speaker’s segments sit on the video’s clock. Click one to jump to it.

  • Original and translation side by side

Fix the transcript or the translation. The segment waits until you regenerate it.

  • Whole thoughts, never single words

A fix redoes the full segment in your voice, so it never sounds stitched together.

  • Every version kept

Each regeneration keeps the one before it. Going back costs nothing.

  • Alerts from the engine

It flags a pause that came out shorter than yours, or a line that runs faster than the original.

  • Hear any line in place

Play the original or the dub from any segment, over the video, before you change a word.

Dub 30 seconds freeThe trial opens the same editor, with 30 seconds of your own video.

Pauses stay where you paused.

Every thought is placed on the video’s own clock, so a silence in the original is a silence in the dub, and the voice reaches the click when your cursor does.

Each voice keeps its turns.

Tell us how many people speak. Each one is dubbed in their own voice and speaks when they spoke.

Voices

Your music stays under the voice.

Music and background sound are separated from the speech and mixed back under the dub.

Subtitles in both languages.

SRT and VTT files timed to the dub, in the original language and in the new one.

Each language is its own dub.

Pick as many languages as you need. Each one uses minutes of its own, counted by the second.

Why I built DubForge

Jackson Boss3D instructor, founder of DubForge

I teach Cinema 4D, and I record my lessons in Portuguese. A real explanation has pauses, a word I search for, and a click that lands at the exact moment I say “now”.

When I first dubbed my lessons, the voice was fine and the timing was not. Sentences rushed, pauses vanished, and “turn it off” came before my cursor got there.

So I started DubForge around the clock of the original video. It dubs each thought whole, keeps it where I said it, and lets me fix one thought without touching the rest.

Questions

What people ask before their first dub.

Which languages can I dub into?

Each language pair opens only after it passes our listening tests. Your account lists the pairs open today.

Does it sync the lips?

Not yet. DubForge is built for lessons, tutorials and screen recordings, where the voice has to follow the click. Lip sync comes after launch.

Can I fix a sentence?

Yes. Edit the transcript or the translation and regenerate that whole segment. Going back to an earlier version is always free.

How long can a video be?

Up to 20 minutes on Creator, an hour on Pro and 3 hours on Studio.

What if a dub fails?

The minutes held for it come back to your balance on their own.
